2020 foi um ano difícil para todos, porém não poderemos esquecer, nem fingir que não aconteceu.
We can say what we want, but 2020 was a difficult year for everyone. However, we cannot forget or pretend it didn't happen. Too many things occurred throughout this year to simply erase them with a rubber or correction fluid.
KISS is real
We may not be able to go around kissing each other now, but the rule KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) has become a basic rule for everything. Time and the need for isolation led us to simplify everything. No overly complex events, as they would confuse people; no complex communications, because no one was in the mood to decipher dialectical diagrams. On the contrary, simplicity became the norm in the daily communication and marketing of brands.
Digital Transformation is simple
We were forced to reduce distances virtually, forced to create connections that until then we only knew how to make around a table. We had to recreate ourselves and rethink how to work and communicate. In companies, we were forced to move all processes to digital once and for all, something that had been promised and predicted for years by trend experts, and suddenly, in less than 2 weeks, it all happened. In less than 6 months, companies converted to digital, and business models shifted from analog and physical to online and digital.
Social is Social, not networks
2020 was the year in which the word Freedom (in this case, the lack of it) was spoken more than ever before, the freedom to walk freely through the streets at any time we pleased. We began to make compromises and create protective barriers that definitively impacted the way we socialize. But that doesn't mean that human creativity hasn't looked at the various resources available and created new ways to maintain contact. It's interesting to see that social networks have seen their usage increase exponentially, but the communication platforms have gained the most. Which means that in the end, what matters is the social aspect and not the platform on which it takes place.
We continue to Communicate in 2020
With all of this, in 2020 we continued to communicate with each other. Brands initially mimicked the same message, but quickly found their own paths, which were better suited to their values, and returned to communicating and seeking to establish real bonds of connection with their audiences.
On our side, the DO IT ON team, we were here, we went through all the changes and saw what was around us so that we wouldn't let this year go unnoticed, no matter how difficult and challenging it was.
